Personally I don't think climate change is something we need to worry about. I mean sure it's bad, but look at the history of Earth. According to scientists there are warm periods that have been hotter then the ones we have now and that have increased almost as dramatically as ours is now.

Carbon Dioxide admissions may be increasing dramatically, but still not as bad as they have in the past. Sure they are at an all time high but the Earth experiences these changes naturally. Maybe the Earth has a way of taking care of itself  Simply because we produce Carbon Dioxide does not mean we have even a profound effect on the Earth as a whole.

Nothing

In class we just watched a documentary entitled "Generation Jobless" and it raised some valuable points however more then I think it intended to. Our generation expects too much to be given to them with very minimal work. We can't just expect someone to step aside for us especially if they have put their time and effort into a job, and we shouldn't buy thing we cant afford then complain about debt.

I understand that its hard to get 3-5 years experience. Especially when every job requires 3-5 years experience. However, you need to go out and maybe do some volunteer work to get that experience. You can't just always expect everything to fall down in line for you. You can't just expect everything to come to you and all you have to do is wait. You have to go out there and apply yourself to the situation. Build up your experience while you are younger and aren't as stressed to make money. Just do a bit of everything so that you know what you want to do more clearly.

The video also talked about how the boomers not stepping down was taking a lot of jobs from new people coming out of university. Now this was kind of ironic when the had a 50 year old women complain about the boomers but not only that I don't think it fair for us to expect someone to step down from something they enjoy doing simply because someone else wants to do it. This person has put their life, their time, their effort into this job I don't think its right for you to simply expect them to leave when they come of age.

There was also a point about the average debt being $27,000 but the way I see it is that if you cant afford something don't buy it. Out of Highschool work for even 2 years at a low end job to make the money so you don't come out of school with a $27,000 debt that you are going to complain about your whole life. Don't rush into things that you aren't ready to do or aren't able to afford. Then after you take out the money don't complain about having to pay it back... you took it for you own reasons of your own free will. Don't make it seem like this loan is an evil thing it brought you through university.

All of this relates back to what i said earlier about the fact that out generation expects things to be handed to them. Our generation is developing into a much less active society. We are less willing to do what needs to be done.

Winter:
To begin the year our modification to bill 3 was not passed. This lead to a lot of struggle for education prices. There was a lot more people kicked out of Parliament.

Spring:
Then during our trading season education was way overprices. This lead to a lot of conflict and food was oddly contested. There was 3 food that went missing... I don't know where it went. I got everything I needed and nobody should die this year.

Summer:
Not as much happened in the summer we brought up a lot of small things we need to fix such as having too little power. New parties were formed on the ideals brought up in the town hall. There were some other small problems like the price of education brought up.

Fall:
The 2 cases were presented. One was a case that had no meaning and it proved that our court was a joke. someone was found guilty on no grounds what so ever. the second case he was found not guilty but I think he should have been found guilty, but that's just my opinion.

End of year:
I ended the year with 81 well-being points and 37 status points. I completed one objective of my hidden agenda. I ended up with $395 and finished in the top of our class again.

In my opinion coming home is to return to a place that makes you comfortable and makes you feel safe. I mean personally there are many place that I could go and refer to as "going home".

For example the place in which I reside for example I can go home to there. However I grew up in Hamilton. On occasion when we go to Hamilton it is referred to as "going home" because that is one place in which I am comfortable. There are also places I spend a lot of time like at my grandparents, or my cousins and I can just relax comfortably.

Just to come home is to return to a place that makes you feel at peace. a place you can let everything out after a long day.

So for our first year of civic mirror a lot happened.

Winter:
To begin the year our tax bill was not passed. This lead to a lot of struggle for welfare and power distribution. I got kicked out of Parliament for speaking our and I voted for the leading party.

Spring:
Then during our trading seasons there was a lot of backdoor deals that went unnoticed which led to the government being sued successfully. I however got what I needed. I got a mansion to live in and I got a food unit to live. I got additional insurance  security, healthcare, and education to maximize my well-being points. I ended up with 44 well-being points at the end of the trading season.

Summer:
First off our Prime Minister stepped down and his successor is our new Prime Minister. In our town hall we identified  a lot of problems we had this year. For example there were 34 deaths in out country. at the end of it all 3 court cases were presented. 2 were because of law violations, and one because of contractual violations.

Fall:
The 3 cases were presented. I as a lawyer was involved in all 3 cases and I won 2 of the three. The terms were too harsh in one instance but not harsh enough in another. We noticed a lot of flaws in our laws and in our system and the way we work. We realize there are loopholes that need to be find.

End of year:
I ended the year with 55 well-being points and 12 status points. I completed one objective of my hidden agenda. I ended up making $2134 and finished in the top of our class. We also started a lottery which will be held every Monday.

I ultimately have no problem with people believing in what they believe in but I do not think it right to go door to door trying to force people to believe in the same things as you. I just want people to ask questions about why they believe in what they believe.

Jesus was Jewish. The bible was also written like 2000 years ago in a dead language. how do we know that any of this stuff actually happened? How do we know that most of the bible was lost in translation? In 2000 years from now are people going to read a star trek book and think that that is what actually happened in this time? Devout Christians are all like "don't drink" yet Jesus turned water INTO WINE... Like is anyone noticing any flaw in that logic? The bible also never said not to drink the bible said "thou shalt not drink in excess" the religions that follow the bible constantly go against what is actually said. I do not think that any religion is truly justified by what is read in a book. I think that every person should follow their heart not be restricted by their family or culture to believe in one thing.

Personally I find the dependence people have on their cellphones and technology to be astonishing.

75% of teenagers own a cellphone nowadays and people say they could not go a day without using their phone. surveys report that 97% of teens admit that texting while driving is dangerous yet 47% of them admit they do it. Texting while driving causes 1.6 MILLION accidents annually, 330000 injuries a year and 17 deaths A DAY. The fact that people feel obligated to text in dangerous situations borders on the obscene.

Think before you text. Is that message really worth possibly dying for? Make sure you are in a safe place before you text.

Everyone keeps saying HATE is such a strong word and we should say it but what about the L word? Everyone throws around LOVE like its no big deal. Why is it that we can so easily throw around a word that means so much?
There are very few people out there lucky enough to find love and you know what good for them but until you experience it first hand i don't think throwing around such a meaningful word is justified. I think that people need to realize that a one month fling is not love, it is simply a test that many people fail

So the other day I was talking to someone and they were complaining about their life. They told me they got kicked out of their house because they were smoking drugs and their mom was a bitch and kicked em out. Well that's not how it works. you mom owns the house you live by her rules until you move out its your fault you got kicked out not hers.

I've noticed about 80% of stuff people complain about in their lives is their own fault. Like oh I'm not doing good in school. well maybe if you showed up you would be doing better. There are people who would kill to just go to school so why pass up the opportunity. Kids would kill to be in your shoes and your pissing away your opportunities.

I think that people need to start realizing what they are doing to themselves and take responsibility for doing or not doing something.
